    Feature and Benefits
    • Surebuild conforms to the 42,5 N strength class of SANS 50197-1 for common cements and, depending on source factory, is identified as one of: (CEM II/A 42,5 N), (CEM II/B 42,5 N), (CEM III/A 42,5 N).
    • CEM II/A denotes portland composite cement with an extender content between 6 and 20%.
    • CEM II/B denotes portland composite cement with an extender content between 20 and 35%.
    • CEM III/A denotes blast furnace cement with a blast furnace slag content between 35 and 65%.
    • Extenders used in the manufacture of Surebuild include limestone (denoted L), fly ash (denoted V), and blast furnace slag (denoted S).
    • Blends of two or more of the above extenders are denoted •M•.  
    Health and Safety
    Demarcate dust areas with zebra lines and/or appropriate signage. Use dust mask in accordance with SANS 50149. Eyes: Wear fully sealing eye protection. Do not eat in areas exposed to cement dust Ingestion in harmful quantities is unlikely to occur. Wet cement or concrete Suitable protective clothing to prevent contact due to caustic nature. Keep dry Do not stack more than 12 loose bags high In terms of SANS 10228.Exposure over long periods of time to very high concentrations may cause a cough with phlegm. Prolonged exposure could sensitise skin causing mild irritation or allergic dermatitis in extreme cases. Irrigate with large amount of water. Seek immediate medical attention. Ingestion: Ingestion in harmful quantities is unlikely to occur. If ingested drink plenty of water and consult a doctor immediately. DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING. Back Strain: As bags are heavy, prevent back and neck injuries by using proper bending and lifting manoeuvres.Gloves: Any type which prevents skin contact with product and undue perspiration.

    Not weatherproof store indoors. Pack tightly together under cover off the ground to a maximum of 12 bags.
