    Health and Safety
    Grease build-up on grids is a common cause of flare-ups – clean yours regularly. Keep a spray bottle of water close to hand for minor flare-ups and make sure you have a fire extinguisher that’s in good working condition. Make sure your first-aid kit has burnshield or a similar topical burn-relief treatment. Benzine and paraffin are dangerous – use them sparingly to help cold coals burn, but never use them on an open flame. Rather use suitable firelighters.
